THE COUNTER HITS THE 10,000 MARK .........................................

Some time today, probably about the time we took the photo of the iguana at the water's edge, our blogsite counter hit 10,000
................ Sure we are grateful to have escaped the ferocity of the hurricanes this season in the Caribbean, unlike these sailors with their wrecked yachts near us in ISLETA, PR,........... But by far our biggest reward has been, that in the last four months, since we put the COUNTER on the blog site, 10,000 people (or near enough) have been able to follow this sailing journey along with us .................. People from as far away as Moscow and Hiratsuka in Japan, to Iceland, Canada, Philippines, Switzerland, Australia, South Africa, Norway, the US and so many more ................ .And we still have so far to go on this cruise, before we finally reach AUSTRALIA ........................... THANK YOU FOR SHARING IN THE JOURNEY ..................... THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LOOK AND READ THE STORIES ..........................In doing so, you inspire us to make it as interesting as possible ........................ And there's so much more to come, as we travel south through the rest of the Caribbean Islands and then onto PANAMA and the South Pacific......................

But tomorrow at 7 am, ARITA will be lifted out of the water................ Now that will be a sight to behold with a vegetable plot of barnacles ..............

Well, it is now TOMORROW, 9.06 am ..............and Oh, for the best laid plans of 'Mice and Men" .................. Forget about what we said about being 'high and dry' ...................... The travel-lift couldn't haul us out ........ Technical reasons................... Working on 'PLAN B' .........Something about diving underneath with a scraper.............. Could be fun ...... We believe that that beautiful descriptive classic four-letter word, is the same in Spanish as it is in English ..........You just have to soften it a bit, by adding 'ITO' on the end............. Feels good when you say it out loud and no-one can hear you ........... "F--KITO"
